PRESS BRAKE OVERVIEW

MITSUBISHI has been providing sales and service for the TOYOKOKI line of Electric and Hybrid press brakes since 1992.TOYOKOKI invented the Electric Brakes over 20 years ago. These smaller yet powerful models require no hydraulic fluid, almost never any maintenance and service, and continue to repeat on the order of a micron years after being put in use.

The Hybrid Series was invented to bring the ultra accuracy of the Electrics into larger economical sizes. A Hybrid brake uses hydraulic pistons but moves them with an AC servo motor without valves. No positioning valves means more accuracy and less maintenance. A hybrid machine really only draws power when the operator steps on the foot pedal, so for most of the day (90% that is) the machine is drawing only 1 Amp.energy savings compared to old machines with loud gear pumps that run continuously whether the ram is moving or not.

Our latest innovation adds MITSUBISHI controls, motors and relays to all the machines. Now electric and hybrids alike share the same controller and 3D features. Moreover all the machines have been given an additional 2 inches of stroke and open height.

Our 15 inch touch screen control eliminates buttons and keyboards that collect dirt and get damaged. Everything is on the large colored WINDOWS screen. Programming is simply done by one of three methods: (1) Basic Mode (angle, flange, sheet type and width) and no graphics, (2) Quick Draw 2D with auto conversion to 3D Mode, and (3) Import Mode by opening a complete 3D program and tool set up plan produced off-line.
